the apache has to remove from every static resource the /versionXXXXX/ "folder".

So try to check the suggestion from @Thangadurai S.

We had the same issue a few weeks ago. After we had double checked the apache config, the only working solution was to update the apache.

Thank you. I spent 2 days straight searching for this issue and your solution of removing / solved it. Any thing i should know as we modified the core file ?
