installing Magento 2 on a suPHP/Apache environment.

I have a hard time to get Magento 2 work on my VPS.

The installation runs without any error, but the front-end and backend has no style.

Hosting says:

Magento installs assume you are running using DSO or fCGI as their handler.  As such, there is a permissions issue in the instructions which state to run it as user:apache, however this does not work on suPHP as it requires it to be user:user, which will not work for the installation.

Is there are a technique to make it work on our environment.

The pre installation checklist was 100% ok anyway.

I hit a lot of bumps trying to get Magento 2 installed and then working. Some of the points in my post might help with getting things working or at least hints to what to search for but I still haven't resolved my issue with the CLI:
