I have been having the hardest time installing this and getting it set up.
I haven't even installed magento yet because I can't even confirm if whether the current software I have on my computer is the correct software for magento is able to run and work properly.
This is what I do know.
I have a virtual host set up.
php - 5.6
mysql - 5.7.17
apache - Apache/2.4.23 (Unix)
Seems like I don't have files in the correct place or I have a wrong version. Then when I go to install the correct version is when I loose my locahost.
If there a seamless installation tutorial on installing for sierra as I keep going to stackoverflow for answers but it seems most peoples set up are all different and once I start tweaking files I am unsure about what they do I lose all control of my set up.
Also. I'm confused what version of magento to install for my current set up that will work the best.
Someone please help!
