Creating admin demo

I want to install Magento 1.x with a demo back and front end on a server for potential clients to go in and take a look but not sell or fulfil or buy anything. How would I go about doing this? Is there a button somewhere to lock everything down that I've missed? I'm on 1.9.3.0 by the way. Thanks!

Hi @meathamper,

A regular installation of M1.x with RWD theme will look like:

You can activate the Demo message on System -> Configuration -> Design

After that you'll see a message on top.
