HOW TO SEND EMAILS TO CUSTOMERS

MY BUSINESS HAS HAD MAGENTO FOR 3 YRS & WE DON'T KNOW HOW TO USE ALOT OF IT. I'M WANTING TO SEND A XMAS EMAIL TO MY CUSTOMERS, BUT DON'T KNOW HOW TO. HAVE A BLESSED WEEKEND! THANKS!

You would be best using mailchimp.com to actually send an email like that. You will just need to export your customer email addresses from Magento in to mailchimp manually.

 

Going forward though, there are integrations that exist between Magento and MailChimp that manage your newsletter subscriptions for you saving you having to manually transfer emails.

You need to have a follow up email extension that can send automatic emails to the customer on special events like Christmas, Holiday, customer's Birthday, cart abandonment etc.
