How do I know I am logged in as an admin with full rights?

Hi,

I have recently asked someone to do up my magento website and he has given me a set of username and password to login to my magento dashboard. May I know how do I know that I am given the full administrator rights? Is there a place where I can see all my privileges? 

Any help is appreciated.

HI @kctan123,

You may see that but accessing:

System > Permissions > Users (all users in your store)

System > Permissions > Roles (diff. roles setup in your store, e.g. Admin, user, contributor, etc.)

I believe my account is full rights because once I go to permission > roles > add roles. I can set resource access as 'full'.

I have another question, is it possible that not all pages in my website can be editable by me? Reason why I ask is that inside my admin account, I can't seems to find the web pages I want to edit... (they are not in the CMS > Pages).

Which pages are you looking for / missing, could you provide a url ?

Not all "pages" in magento are actually pages, but could be Static blocks inserted through widgets or directly in the phtml files of the theme.
