we have a layered navigation setup where a couple of attributes are not filtering correctly. I ahve been round and round trying to figure ourt what's different and re-indexed and flushed countless times.
All I'm after is a pointer of where the problem may lie.

attributes not working are 'belt size' and 'season'.
There are associated products and the querystring parameter is correct but the filtering does not happen.
Any help would be really appreciated
