Remove "new_from_date" attribute content in product grid

How can I remove "new_from_date" attribute content in product grid using "Mass action" feature ?

Hi @Mystral,

Do you have that column on Catalog -> Products  grid?

No I don't have it but I select some products, choose "modify attributes" in select box and go to the page listing all attributes I can modify. For all these products I want to remove the "new from date" content. If I leave blank or enter 0000-00-00 00:00:00 the date is not modified or changed to 1999- ..... I would like to remove all dates.

I've tested on a pretty clean Magento (is a vanilla installation with some custom modules but no important changes).
