Our shipping is calculated automatically (either a fixed rate or free over a certain threshold) and yet when they come to confirm the order they get a drop-down on the shipping step - albeit with 1 option. Is this behaviour I can get rid of with configuration.
What makes this even more confusing is we are using PayPal Express and at the point of confirmation on the PayPal site, the fixed shipping cost is deduced by PayPal and added to the total price but upon return to the shopping site a selection from the shipping dropdown is required, even though the amount has been added to the total in PayPal and there are no other options.
This is obviously very confusing for the customer at a crucial stage of the sales pipeline.
Can anybody tell me what I'm doing wrong?
