Shopping Cart Rule (Discount when 2 items are ordered each from a different sub cat)

Hi

I'm trying to set up a rule so that when a customer buys an item of apparel and an item of footwear from the same brand together then a % discount is applied. Both items are in different sub categories.

The rule i have set is :

If ALL  of these conditions are TRUE :

• If total quantity  equals or greater than  2  for a subselection of items in cart matching ALL  of these conditions:
  • Category  is  86, 164 
  • Category  is  86, 174 
  •   
•   

86 is the brand and 164/174 are sub categories. 

At present the rule works if any 2 items are ordered from the same brand.

However if I remove the "86" which is how i thought it should be configured. The rule doesnt work at all.

Any advice is much appreciated.
