Just updated to 220.127.116.11 this morning (via softaculous) and I just noticed that template path hints are no longer working for me when I enable it in the admin section. To be honest, it could have stopped working in 18.104.22.168, but I never checked when I was on that version.
Could this maybe be an issue with the block white list?
Hello. I had the same problem.
Try the following for the "Default Config" selected in the stores drop-down:
1. Go to System -> Configuration
2. Scroll to bottom of the page and click Developer in the ADVANCED section
3. Clear the "Allowed IPs (comma separated)" field.
