I have an online magento store that sells both vatable and non-vatable clothing. We accept card payments via SagePay, and paypal payments.
I am looking for example of UK retailers that are in a similar position. When doing your accounting - what methods do you use to account for VAT. The default magento sales reports don't split the sales by payment type, so there is no way of knowing what sales that go through SagePay are Vatable and which are non Vatable. Similarly for PayPal.
Additionally - how do you take into account refunds via each payment method?
