Upgrade to 1.9.1 went smooth, flushed cache, now Admin content is blank

Hi,

We upgraded from 1.7.0.2 to 1.9.1 and things went smooth. We flushed cache and immediately after Admin content is not being displayed. Front end works fine. We've tried flushing cache again, re index, recompile, log in and out, nothing appears to resolve the issue.

Example is below. This occurs with all Admin areas except configuration and dashboard. 

Any ideas?

Update:

We've uninstalled and reinstalled Magento 1.9.1 multiple times and have narrowed it down to the point of switching the base_url. Since we are migrating to a different web address, we are importing the existing database with themes and extensions. Everything works fine in the backend when displaying admin content up until the secure and base_url are updated to the new address. After this point admin content disappears to exhibit the issue in the previous post. 

Any ideas?
