convert csv files

Hello everybody

My dropshipper give me files in csv for prestashop, but I have Magento, so the goal is to convert this csv file into Magento format. There is plugins, or script or something that I can use for do that?

What kind of file it is? Shipping rates , tax rates or products etc?

Can you provide more information?

Products, that contains attributes: id, categories, name, details, price, tax, weight, and different photo urls

First you have to create categories and attribute in Magento.Then create some dummy products then you can export them and see which format Magento uses.

You have to format your csv file according.This is just a abstract information, it will be better if first you read some good blogs and articles on Magento import export and catalog.

I think users can consider Cart Migration tool to import prestashop to magento with products, categories, taxes, reviews and other attributes. On the other hand, if you have technical knowledge about match data between two shopping cart, data migration, you can try migrate csv manually.
