url change

I have changed url keys in categories and subcategories because i want custom url alias in the url...but magento shows the old ones...(i cleared my cash and reindex)...maybe do i have to massively delete my url rewrites and reindex again?

Sound like that would be a good idea with the manually deleting the url rewrites, but how many do you have and is the store online ?
