Redis master-slave replication

we are using Redis on Magento 1.7 for storing cache.

and i wanted to ask if anyone have experience with using Redis master-slave replication. because one Redis instance is not enough when it comes to survivability.

does Magento support such structure?

how it suppose to be configured in local.xml?

Heads up for general information, Cm_Cache is built into 1.9.2
