Can't login admin page for Php Issues

Hello guys!

Since I installed a extension I couldn't log in on my admin account anymore.

It seems there's a error about permissions, when I try to login this message appears:

Fatal error: Call to a member function getModel() on a non-object in /home/mysite/www/app/code/core/Mage/Admin/Model/Session.php on line 117

  • Obs: There's not a line 117 on this file o.O
  • Obs2: I checked all permissions i Mysql and it's all ok.

Does anyone knows a solution for this weird situation?

regards

Re: Can't login admin page for Php Issues

I don't think error from permission. I don't know about the extension that you installed. So I can't help you.

Re: Can't login admin page for Php Issues

Hi @HiagoVilar

What version of Magento are you running, there should be a line 117 but in 1.9.1 there is no model call as far as I can see, you might have gone wrong selecting the adminhtml folder instead of admin.

Check the file app/code/core/Mage/Admin/Model/Session.php again :-)

Re: Can't login admin page for Php Issues

Ups.. sorry, there's a line 117 hehe, I was looking for the wrong file.

The extension was a slider, but i don't remember the name, but it all happened when I changed some admin permisions due to a 404 error on that extension. (When I changed the permission i got that "Acess Denied" error, then I reseted all permissions via Mysql and this error has appeared again.

My version is 1.6.0.0

The code on this line was

            $user = $this->_factory->getModel('adminhtml/user');

I tried to change to

            $user = $this->_factory->getModel('admin/user');

But the error stills  :'(

Re: Can't login admin page for Php Issues

Hi @HiagoVilar

That wasn't exactly what i ment.

That sounds very wrong, since I the introduction of the factory object was a pretty recent thing as far as I remember. I downloaded a clean install of Magento 1.6.0.0 and the code lines didnt match what you described. It does however match the line in 1.9.1.

Did you try and upgrade your install without success?

The file should look like this for 1.6.0.0:

Re: Can't login admin page for Php Issues

Hi @Theis Corfixen

First of all, thanks so much for your help!

Well, I know there's a big mistake but it's been really hard to identify, usually in these situations we find the mistake in something really simple.

I have made a backup of the old Session.php file and then put the code you told me.

Now the error is:

Fatal error: Call to a member function getClassName() on a non-object in /home/mysite/www/app/code/core/Mage/Admin/Model/Resource/Acl.php on line 135

I think somehow all the login system were "updated" for a most recent version. o.O

I'll try to install the 1.6 version on my local network and test file by file from model folder, maybe it should fix, i hope!

Best regards and thank you so much!

PROBLEM SOLVED Smiley Very Happy

Well, I realized that somehow I locked myself out magento, then I tryed to modify the mysql database and i think there was the mistake.

Solution:

  1. I've installed magento 1.6.0.0 on my local network and overwrite the folde /www/app/code/core/Mage/Admin/Model.
  2. I've created an admin account and then I just exported the mysql tables admin_role, admin_rules and admin_users.

Well done!
