Coupon code magento 1.9

Product A having maximum discount 3% discount. (please tell me how can i set the maximum discount in percentage)

At the same the Customer Group members having coupon code for 5%.

Now the Product should be discount upto 3% not above 3% .

Even They Entered the Coupon code for 5%.

You can give a Percent of product price discount which in your case would be set up for any item in cart.
