Custom forms in magento

hi,

my client needs 2-3 contact forms except the default one that magento gives. so i searched everywhere on net and didn't find any easy tutorial except paid extensions to create forms.

I m surprised how magento is really poor in providing features.

Can anybody give me step by step guidance here to create forms in magento.

I need to use radio buttons, check boxes, dropdown tool

and all the forms may send information to the different email addresses too.

I'm sure some are surprised that this is how you ask for help. I'd list all of the features which Magento does provide but I can't afford to lose those hours today.

How hard did you look? There are a few free extension available in Connect alone.

Did you know that any form interface in Magento's admin is built using OO form components from ./lib/Varien/Form/?  You can also take the Mage_Contacts module as an example.
