Hi everyone, I was mostly lurker here.
Will there be new version of Magento 1.x that will be GDPR compliant? From quick research I did into GDPR, doing it via modules is possible, but I guess it will permeate significant part of the codebase.
I have only a few years of experience with Magento, but honestly GDPR compliance seems like something that should be handled in "core Magento".
Please let me know if you heard of already ongoing effors in the official Magento core team to provide GDPR support for M 1.x or if community is already organizing and planning to implement solution.
