How to get default selected customer shipping address?

$this->_address = $this->getQuote()->getShippingAddress();
} else {
$ship = $this->getQuote()->getShippingAddress();
$ship_country = $ship->getCountryId();
if(!empty($ship_country))
$this->_address = $ship;

}

Working ?
