I want to show a subcategory under multiple root categories without having to create them again

Hi,

We want to add a certain subcategory of a root category to another root category (because the products in this subcategory applies to multiple root categories.

Is there a way to do this without having to create a new subcategory and adding all the products in it? Basically if we can do it by just adding a link to the other root category linking to that one subcategory, it would be fine as well...

Any suggestions?

Wordpress has the "menu" thing where you add a mix of pages, links & categories to the menu's but in magento we are kinda stuck with the categories menu...

There is no such functionality in Magento out-of-the-box, unless you want to do it manually.
