Re-index after every new product > site stalls for 5 minutes every time

Hello,

Magento 1.9

Add new product , then everytime it auto re-indexes which takes 5 minutes. During which time the website does not load etc. When I'm adding products , it makes the site un-usable , well done Magento ?

Catalog Search

Index Rebuild

Catalog product fulltext search index

Update on Save PROCESSING

Hi @audiobuy_llc 

I think you can schedule the indexing by manually rather then on update there are settings for it inside indexing configuration.
