I'm not sure if this problem has been addressed in an another post. If someone can refer me to a solution that will be great. I've made a shopping cart rule where registered users, "General" group, will receive free shipping. Now the problem I'm having is registration at checkout. Magento will not register the customer on checkout until they finish the ordering process thus users cannot receive free shipping as an option. Is there a way where if customers chooses to register at checkout that it will be redirected to the regular login/registration page? If not, I'm open to alternate solution.
