So, I had a website built and in the search it used fulltext and everything worked great.
Now with a full redo to a 1.9 version, when entering a search term of say "ZK D30-F", it returns no products. This is essential to a add on from a manufacture that uses not only these characters in their part numbers, but in a add on that is a powerful search by application etc.
I believe it is using the "-f" portion as a subtract from results?
Is there a way to disable this, yet still use fulltext option?
I am in no way able to just change this code or such, as I have never done that. But if its spelled out well, I can attempt and likely be good.

Search terms that I have found dont return results in basic search, yet in advanced by SKU work just fine.
ZK D30-f
YK D30-TJ
ZK D30-F
just a few of likely about a thousand
Oh, but if I search for YZLD30-4-27 it returns the exact items that has that SKU.
