Hi folks
I am trying to set up a 'Mix and Match' price rule, so that customers get a discount for every three items they buy from a category.
I've set it up as follows: (Category 195 contains the products)
T-shirts - 3 for £59.99
(Unit price £21.95, saving £5.86 per 3 items)
CONDITIONS:
If ALL of these conditions are TRUE
If total quantity equals or greater than 3 for a subselection of items in cart matching ALL of these conditions
Category is 195
ACTIONS:
Apply: Fixed amount discount
Discount amount: 1.9533
Discount Qty Step (Buy X): 3
Stop Further Rules Processing: No
If ALL of these conditions are TRUE :
Category is 195
However, the discount only works every time a customer buys 3 of the same product in the category, rather than a totals of 3 products from the category.
ie:
3 x Large T-shirt = works
2 x Small + 1 x Large = doesn't work
Is there a way to set up a 'mix and match' ?
Or do I need an extension?
I have a similar issue I need help with. I've just posted about it and then found your post. I need mix and match on any items in the same size by the same manufacturer. Currently I can only get exact matching items to work OR different items - but not both matching and unmatching ie. Mix and Match.
Did you manage to figure this out or get any help?
Thanks if any one can please help.
Sadly, I've not worked it out yet. How have you got yours set up?
I don't quite understand "exact matching OR different items"...
