Summary description not described on Product page

The summary description of one of our products is not properly displaying on our website using the Magento admin. We have added a summary to product information under the manage products tab, but the summary has not been displayed. The image of the product also an automatic magnification function that we would like to disable. Please advise us what changes we can make to remove the magnification and make the summary appear.
