I have Magento installed locally using Xampp, hwo can I install the patch. My system has no app to open/run a .sh file and I do not see a sh executable in my xampp folder.
You will need to install Cygwin so you have a *nix shell environment on your Windows box, then use Cygwin's package management function to install the command line utility patch.
