DOWNLOADING THE SECURITY PATCH
Patches are available for Magento Community Edition 1.4 and later releases and Magento Enterprise Edition 1.7 and later releases. Before implementing this new security patch (SUPEE-6788), you must first implement all previous security patches. This will ensure that the patch works properly.

According to this, patches will be available for:

CE 1.4 and up

EE 1.7 and up

When I try to download i get redirected to https://www.magentocommerce.com/download with no option to download just more redirects?

What browser are you using and which version are you trying to download the patch for @pmcgon?

All I see on that link is downloading a version of Magento and some other links, where is the actual download for 6788?

The issue is that when you arrive from "Notifications" page where Critical notifications are listed, the link should put you at least to the patch list page if not right to the specific patch download ... you don't see it in the  downloads page and that's confusing and time consuming to try to find it.

To find this patch  go to  "Releases" tab, scroll down and you should see all patches listed...
