301 redirect: Magento doesn't allow "?" in the URL

Hi Everyone,

I'm trying to do a 301 redirect to an URL that include "?".
Apparently Magento doesn't allow URLs with question mark to be redirected. Is that true? Is there anyway to change this and allow "?" in the URL?

How are you trying to add this redirect? Are you using any extension for that?

There should not be any problems with a 301 redirect to any page (even with "?" in the URL) if you implement it via your .htaccess file.
