We are experiencing a problem whereby when a customer places an order after the order has been placed an extra item shows within their order on the website.
If the customer orders one item when they view their order in the account page another random item shows on the order but total amount of the order is for the item ordered and doesn't include the random item added, if that makes sense.
The item ordered shows correctly when they receive their email also when viewed in the admin area the randomly added item shows to which I have to delete each time.
Strange thing going on here, has anyone experienced this as not sure where to start as to why this is happening.
From the sounds of it I would say that there is has been an unsuccessful purge of old/historic/test orders which can lead to the occurrence of random items appearing on the orders?
