Admin Login Page Blank (version 1.8.0) After Supee 6788
Hi,
Tried installing SUPEE 6788 via FTP yesterday, and the entire site went blank. I replaced all SUPEE files with the originals (everything was backed up before I began), but all the pages were still blank. I changed the permissions on the var directory, and everything came back to normal.
The only issue is that when I try to login to the Admin/Dashboard, I get a blank white page. I can't login to Admin!
I've read and tried everything that I could, but still can't login to Admin.
Using an error reporting script on the index.php page ... I get the following error when the Admin login info is submitted.
Fatal error: Class 'Mage_Adminhtml_Block_Abstract' not found in /var/www/vhosts/mydomain.com/httpdocs/app/code/core/Mage/Adminhtml/Block/Widget/Grid/Column/Filter/Abstract.php on line 35
I'm thinking this is a permission problem, but I really don't know..
If anyone knows how to fix this, please let me know.
Thanks

The 6788 extension will "block" custom blocks so you may have a custom block that is preventing your site from loading correctly.
Do you have a development environment you can test in?
Keep Calm and Clear Cache!

Thanks for your response!
The problem is fixed!
I started uploading files from my FTP backup, it was something in the app/code folder.
The only issue I see now is ... Page blocks HTML, on the Cache Management page is Disabled???
Any ideas how to fix that?
Thanks Again

Re: Admin Login Page Blank (version 1.8.0) After Supee 6788
Alright, forget this one!
I found the "Disable" "Enable" Actions on the Cache Storage Management page.
Don't know how it became Disabled in the first place, but it's fine now.
Thanks
