Can't save a product with an image

Hi! I recently installed the SUPEE 6285 and 5994. After this, I am unable to save any products with images. I tried saving a product without an image and it is able to do so. The problem only arises when I upload an image to the product then I am unable to save. It doesn't give any error messages. It just reloads to a blank page. Any ideas on what could be going wrong?

Is you media folder writable?

Are you able to see the uploaded image under media folder?

Any system log errors or exception messages?

Hi muk_t, the media folder has permissions of 700. I tried switching it to 777 but still couldn't save so I switched back to 700.

 

The uploaded image is not coming out in the media folder either and there are no log errors or exceptions messages in exception.log
