Thanks for taking the time to reply. After further investigation with other developers this isn't the reason....It seems its entirely down to something in my network connection.  I opened the same problem pages on other connections in friends business and there are no issues. We dont know what it is about my connection that is causing the problem (the upload and download speeds are very fast on all other sites).  We will continue talk to broadband supplier etc to see what it is (We have of course rebooted wifi etc.
