Continuous spam from Contact Forms or Newsletters

Hello there,

Recently started a new job at a hosting company. One of the problems we face everyday is spam coming from unsecured Contact Forms and Newsletters.

So the blunt question is. Where can I possibly find the contact form modules/plugins in a Magento 1.x or 2.x installation? And what can I do to  suspend the spam until the clients gets back to us after being notified?

Mind you, we cannot install captcha's into the client website on our own.

You can use the Google hidden re-captcha to avoid spam.

We can't intervene in such a way to install captchas for our clients without their consent nor would we for free so that option is not viable for me. What I need is to know which plugin to disable from the control Panel(or cPanel).
