I hope everyone is having a successful day.
We are having issues with emails not being sent to:
Order received emails to Admin
Emails via contact us form on contact page
Only customers with Hotmail and Gmail can receive emails from our store
We have tried 3 developers now who are unable to fix this issue.
Our domain ends with .online (which initially magento community edition 1.9 rejected when we entered it in store emails, it wouldn't even let us save it) so we had to do some development work to fix this issue. I think this is where the problem is.
Can anyone help with this issue? Its really frustrating as we are sending out emails manually via webmail.
And yes we have checked all email hosting providers for any blacklisting etc of our domain and that is not the case. The case is definitely with our platform and the .online domain.
Any help would be most welcome.
I'm actually not sure how to do that, I'm not very good on the development side of things.
My previous developers who worked on my website have finish contract so I am unable to ask them to check this info.
But the emails never worked from day one.
I'm agree that it can be issue with blacklisted server. If it's correct I'll recommend you to use such services as mailgun for sending emails. You will need to install SMTP extension to make it work with magento.
So our own email address can be blacklisted?
Is there anyway I can check if we are blacklisted or not?
Hi so we done one test email and the error log says:
VARIFICATION FAILED FOR <WWW-DATA@MAGENTO>
550-UNROUTEABLE ADDRESS 550 SENDER VERFIY FAILED
