I have a setup where users can create an account, and sell their products on the site directly to other users of the site.
Currently, we're using an off the shelf adaptive PayPal module with poor functionality. Nonetheless, I was able to fit it to do what we needed.
Now, we're moving on to a commission-free system, so we're abandoning the adaptive system altogether. With that brings the ability to use the PayPal Standard method, which will offer the ability for PayPal Protection for purchases between vendor and customer.
I've been through the core Mage files for PayPal Checkout, and I cannot for the life of me sort out a good way of hooking the vendors email to the PayPal Standard Checkout Method.
I'm open to other ideas, but in a perfect world I would just be modifying core files, and deploying them as a separate extension, or an override.
Any feedback would be appreciated.
