Is there a way to track the open rates of newsletter transactional emails?

I am using Community. I want to find out how many people reads the newsletter subscription success transactional email and click on it. Is there a way to track? By configuration setup, insert codes, or any popular extension?

Tracking such information is technically complicated, but not totally impossible. I personally recommend to us some kind of integrated e-mail marketing service, such as mailchimp or sendgrid -- tracking stuff is part of their package.
