Hi, I got a problem with my magento shop, I use Magento 1.9.2.2 , my site can generate sitemap every day automatically last month, but when I bought SSL certificate to ask my server provider Bluehost (China) to install for me, from that time, I found my site can't generate sitemap automatically any more, I have check the cron job with Putty, cron job on Cpanel is running well:
/usr/local/bin/php /home/username/public_html/cron.php
The Bluehost server provider said: "Need to edit cron script again, because http change to https now, so it won't work." I am not good at this, I don't know what is the problem, please anyone help me for that, anything I can do to fix that problem, thanks.
Hi @wuguangyan,
As we discussed in another thread, remember to use the cron.sh instead the php version.
Can you explain a little better which URL is the problem? Why your server provider says you need to change the script?
Hi Damian Culotta,
Thank you very much for your reply, you are very nice, I will try cron.sh, about url: I set secure & unsecure url both to https, manual generate sitemap all url to https.
About my sever provider said "need to edit script". I think they are wrong, but I don't know how to fix, I think they don't know either.
I have fixed cron running well today, it can set e-mail automatically, but can't generate sitemap automatically.
Would you know where and how to check about generating sitemap problem? Thank you so much again. Have a nice day.
Best regards,
Mr. Wu
HI @wuguangyan,
Can you check your configuration URLs? Maybe if you change the scope from Default to Website or Store View you'll find some URL isn't using https.
