Magento Connect Manager Not Loading

I have a client running Magento ver. 1.9.2.4 (ideally we'd update but that isn't an option right now), and we'd like to add the Facebook pixel to our site (metrinch.tv). 

However, when I attempt to run Magento Connect Manager to add an extension the page does load. I get a blank white screen with the URL (http://[MY URL]/downloader/?return=http%3A%2F%2Farstore.transactmedia.com%2Findex.php%2Fadmin%2F)

Any advice would be very much appreciated, we're trying to get this pixel placed in time for Black Friday.

Hi @andy_green,

Which HTTP status did you get when you try to access to that page?

If the HTTP status is 500 you're getting a server error and you should check your webserver error logs and your Magento's logs too to try to find a clube about the error.

I am facing the same issue after upgrading / reinstalling 1.9.4.2
