Magento sharing cart at multi site

I am developing a Magento site having different countries each country refer to one site. Now I want to share the same cart with in the whole site.My site url is www.example.com/japan similarly www.example.com/china. I try different tutorials of sharing sessions but nothing is working at all.Please help me.
