Magento will not sent any emails what so ever!

Hi guys,

Ive been searching and editing and trying to fix this issue for a few hours now and getting no where.

Im new to magento but lost for ideas, ive tested the server to see if that was the issue but it looks ok as on a test php it will send mail but when i have new users login and have to confirm emails/lost passwords ect no emails go out.

Ive got a SMTP extention and all the details are correct. Im lost please help.

What is this SMPT Extention? Anything in mail server logs?

Nothing in server logs, and SMTP Pro keeps saying its timed out been on the phone to my host all evening and they say its not a issue on their side... so confused right now!

Try these settings,

Email Connection : Custom SMTP

Authentication : None

Port : 25

SSL Security : No SSL

Hopefully your SMTP server is configure to send SMTP email without a password from Local host. Most do.
