We are having an issue where the status of some of our PayPal orders are reverting after a non specified and irregular time.
When and order comes through to us its shows as 'Processing'
Once we have printed the invoice/packing slip for the order we change the status to 'On Order'.
We then come back and find that some of these transactions revert to 'Processing' despite us changing the status.

Any one encountered this before or know how to resolve this is we are finding duplicates and could potentialy cost us a lot of money.
