Products randomly disappear from site search, reindexing fixes it

Hello, 

a few of our Magento sites randomly un-index products. Re-indexing the site fixes the problem but the sites can be left with no products showing in search for days before I notice the problem and reindex the search.

Has anyone encountered this before? 

I'm running Magento ver. 1.9.2.0 on CentOS 6.

We are having this same issue with one of our sites. Did you ever figure out the problem and were you able to resolve it?
