SMTP Problems, Magento version 1.9.2.0

I cannot seem to find a good SMTP plugin for magento version 1.9.2.0, I am currently not receiving any notifications for new orders. Help is greatly appreciated.

Thank you for the information, unfortunately I am not a developer, my developer ran and left my website half way done. I went to the link you shared, but I do not know my way around that.
