Sending new order email to multiple customers

I created a new store in Magento version 1.9.1.0 and whenever a new request is made in the store, transactional email this request is sent to several customers of the store.
I have already installed an SMTP module to see if the problem would stop, but it keeps happening.
Has anyone seen this?
