Showing main website page instead of store homepage

Hi,

I have created a new store for my website as follows:

1. Created subfolder for the new store

2. Added required files in the subfolder (.htaccess, index.php updated for new store)

I am getting the new store in Opera but browsers like 'Microsoft Edge', 'IE 11' displays the main website homepage for the new store url.

Earlier Google chrome was displaying the new store but now it is also showing the main website homepage without I making any changes to files/backend.

It will be of great help if anybody could provide some pointers on how to solve the problem.

Hi,

If you setup new store properly then please clear cache in both side: Magento cache(backend or var/cache folder) and browser cache.

Tried viewing the page from Admin>CMS>Page>Preview and started getting the correct page.
