Unidentified Results from Magento 1 Security Scan Results

Based on the latest results of a security scan for our Magento 1 site, we got unidentified results. It seems because of our client uses a 3rd party to improve the security of their sites which may lead to a few things being blocked so the scanner tool can't scan the sites properly.

Here's the unidentified results:
1. Scan Name: Brute Force

We were unable to check for Brute Force
We were not able to check your store for "Brute Force".

Kindly help if there's anyone that can provide the explanation the purpose of each unidentified result, any destination URLs used by the tool to scan so the 3rd party can whitelist it, and other necessary information you can provide.

Thank you.

Re: Unidentified Results from Magento 1 Security Scan Results

Hey there! The “Unidentified” results in your Magento 1 Security Scan basically mean the scanner couldn’t fully check that area—it wasn’t a straight pass or fail. Think of it as something that raised an eyebrow but needs a closer look.

Usually, this happens when access gets blocked by firewalls, site redirects, or other server tweaks that keep the scan from doing its full job. Sometimes it's just temporary or needs some extra permissions.

What I’d suggest:

  • First, make sure your site is actually verifying ownership correctly—no missing tags or redirects.

  • Check server logs or firewall rules—maybe the scan bots are getting blocked.

  • If everything seems fine, wait a bit and run another scan. Some changes only show up after a sync delay.

Hope this helps you pinpoint what’s going on. Let me know if you want help chasing down where it's getting stuck!

Re: Unidentified Results from Magento 1 Security Scan Results

yeah, our site is protected by a company that runs the security to protect it. But, the problem is the company needs something like URLs or anything where they can open the permission for the scanner to access it, besides of the scanner's IP.

For example, to check for Magmi what is the scanner's request to? is it certain URL or something else. We need this data.

Thank you
