coupon code issues

We have a coupon code in place to offer a 100% discount on a sample product. The code has recently stopped working. Are there any known issues with coupon codes after security patches in Magento 1.7 I have read that there was a known bug with 1.9

Are you sure that there is no limit in the coupon configuration?

Below you can find a screenshot of the fields related to the limits in the coupon codes ("uses per coupon" and "uses per customer"):

Hi 

I checked the coupon uses and it wasn't that. I've removed the coupon, added it again, refreshed the cache etc and it seems to be working at the moment.
