how disable reindex afer save catalog

Hello everybody !

I have a problem with reindex. When i edit and save catalog, after system will reindex and clear cache. That process, my website will load high perfome, sometime it down and dispaly too many connections.  I want to disable reindex if edit and save catalog in admin.

Hi,

You can goto System > Index Management and change your indexes from 'update on save' to 'manual'.
